The Set up programs window serves two purposes:
■ Provides a summary of all defined programs.
■ Transfers you to a second Set up programs window when you select the program and click Edit, when you double-click the selected program, or when you click New to add a new program.

From Certification, select Set up programs
Sort Options
The Set up programs window summarizes the information for each program currently defined in the system. This includes the program Code, Status, Title, and Date Established. If you decide to retain definition data on closed or canceled programs, this list can be quite long. The following are sort options to change the order of the list to make viewing it easier:
■ Date - (Default) Lists the programs chronologically by start date
■ Code - Lists the programs alphabetically by program code. If you assign similar codes to similar programs (for example, PROG94 and PROG95), they are grouped together.
■ Title - Lists the programs alphabetically by program title
■ Status - Lists the programs by the status of the program. The status types are:
□ A - Available
□ C - Closed
□ X - Canceled
Joint
Opens the Joint Programs window to join two certification programs.
Clone
Copies the program currently selected. This feature requires that you enter a new title. Use this option to generate a new program based on the contents and requirements of the program you have selected. Modify the information as appropriate for your new program.
Register
Opens the Register a student by program window for the program currently selected (selected) on the list. This is a useful option if you just edited a program definition and you want to start entering registrations.
